9 Liberian referees to officiate FIFA international matches in 2019

Following the presentation of 12 names of Liberian referees to the committee of football world governing body FIFA by the Liberia referees committee, nine Liberian referees have be selected by FIFA to officiate international football competions in 2019.

According to a release from the Liberia football association, a communication has been recived from FIFA thanking the local football house for submitting of Liberian international referees to officiate FIFA competitions in the coming year.

The referees selected from Liberia are, Jerry S. Yekeh, George S. Rogers Jr, newly appointed Secretary General Isaac T, Montgomery and Hassan Corneh. At the same time Johnson Gbartea, Abraham Boye Fahnbulleh, Sekou S. Kanneh Jr and Joel Wanke Doe will serve as assistant referees respectively.

Meanwhile FIFA has also selected Sylvina Welma Garnett as Liberia female international referee for 2019.
