The Econmic Freedom Fighters (EFFL) of Liberia has called called on her supporters to cut off the plan protest in demand of the restoration of the popular three days free calls by Telecommunication service providers in Liberia.
On Monday September 16, 2019, the Economic Freedom Fighters of Liberia issued a release applauding the Liberia Council of Churches for taking the lead in mediating between the government of Liberia and the two GSM companies along with the EFFL to mount pressure on them to restore the three days free calls that Liberians have enjoyed over the years.
It can be record in August of this year Lonestar Cell MTN and Orange-Liberia cut off the three days free calls promotion due to the new price floors for on-net voice and data services introduced by the Liberia Telecommunication Authority.
Since the abrupt cut in the promotion many Liberians have complained about the high cost of communication within the country.

EFFL UPDATES ON THE POSSIBLE PROTEST TO RESTORE THE THREE (3) DAYS CALLS SERVICE.
Liberia’s fast growing and only economic emacipation political institution the Economic Freedom Fighters of Liberia (EFFL) wishes to inform the general public which includes the media, civil society organizations, the collaborating institutions, leaders and members of the EFFL across the country and as well the struggling masses that the Liberia Council of Churches (LCC) have requested the EFFL to hold onto her excepted annoucement of a nation wide protest this week pending their negotiations and consultations with major stakeholders. The Liberian Council of Churches through its President, Bishop Kortu Brown has committed the LCC to serve as mediator between the Government of Liberia, the EFFL and the GSM Companies to either return to status quo or heel to the EFFL’s recommendations submitted through a communication to the offices of the Speaker, Senate Pro-Tempt and LTA.
The EFFL calls on its members, collaborators and the entire citizenry to remain calm, patience and focus as we engage the government of Liberia on said matter. Let this be known, the EFFL will/shall never compromised the interest of the struggling masses-making specific reference to the continuous and consistent call for establishing War and Economic Crimes Court in Liberia; therefore, the BRINK BACK OUR THREE (3) DAYS is of no exception.
Meanwhile, the EFFL informs all its structures (Youth, Women, Teachers, Students, Religious, Counties and Districts) and other collaborating institutions and individuals that mobilization continues across the country as we engage the process to amicably resolve the matter through dialogue. Failure on the part of the government of Liberia to listen to the cry of the people, the EFFL will exercise her civil disobedience.
Note: For other institutions and individuals who are interested in the mobization process can contact the following departments/structures of the EFFL:

In the cause of economic emacipation for the struggling masses, the EFFL remains uncompromising.
