ALP Political Leader Benoni Urey cry for help to fight Corona virus in Liberia


As the number of corona virus cases continues to increase in Liberia on a daily basis, the political leader of the All Liberian Party (ALP), Benoni Urey has written the President of the United States of America requesting the US Government’s intervention in the current health crisis in the country.

On June 1, 2021 the country had 89 active corona virus but in the past four weeks, the number has increased to one thousand four hundred fifty eight (1458) a situation that is alarming.

In a letter dated June 28, 2021, Mr. Urey disclosed that health facilities in the country lack the capacity and resources to deal with the situation on the ground. The ALP Leader described the Corona virus pandemic as a horrifying medical crisis’ that is currently plaguing the Liberia.

 Mr. Urey recounting the relationship that exists between Liberia and the United States pleaded with President Joe Biden to consider attending to the cries of Liberians by saving their lives.

The ALP’s Political Leader at the same time cautioned Liberians to continue to adhere to all safety health measures instituted by health authorities in Liberia.
