House of Representatives failed to appear before Supreme Court?

The House of Representatives of the Republic of Liberia has failed to appear before the Supreme Court for hearing into the matter between Montserrado district #10 Representative Yekeh Kolubah and the House of Representatives over Yekeh’s suspension.

It can be recalled that controversial Monsterrado County district ten Representative Yekeh Kolubah was suspended by the majority members for 16-working-days for raining insults on the Liberian President George Weah.

The House of Representatives was invited by the Court to give reasons for the suspension of the Lawmaker.

The Parties were expected to appear on Wednesday July 14, 2021 for hearing but the House failed to show-up.

The matter has been pushed to next week Wednesday.
