Justice Minister Cllr. Frank Musa Dan fires Amos Williams Chief of ERU and 3 other officers of Liberia National Police


Amidst mountain calls and several Protests aimed at demanding justice for the mysterious death of Princess Cooper, the Liberia National Police on Tuesday March 29, 2022 disrobed and dismissed four(4) of its officers in Monrovia for disorderly conduct.

Addressing a news conference at the Headquarters of the Liberia National Police , Justice Minister Cllr. Frank Musa Dan named Amos Williams Chief of ERU, Otis Wallace, Stg. George Wleh and Humphrey Karhn as officers being disrobed by the Police.
The Attorney General said the actions taken against the Police officers was a result of their involvement in act of brutality against peaceful citizens. He used the occasion to warn other Police officers to not engage in any act that will undermine the reputation of the Liberia Nation Police.

It can be record, Amos Williams chief of the Emergency Response Unit(ERU) of the LNP was involved in the flogging of a Peaceful and unarmed citizen at a Club belonging to him(Amos William) in Brewerville district #17 Montserrado county. The case was reported to the professional standard department of the LNP whuch prompted investigation.
Cllr. Musa Dean who appeared furious during the press conference refused to take questions from journalists on the matter.
As for Princess Cooper’s Investigation, the Liberia National Police and the Justice Minister failed to mention any updates about the ongoing investigation saying”No Question”.
